Short Captions for Sub-floats

Postby musiige » Mon Apr 22, 2013 7:06 pm

Hi,

I would like to have short caption for my LoF and LoT. I have found this command to use from the net.
  1. \caption[short caption for lof/lot]{long figure/table caption}

But as I am using the subfig package, this does not go well.

How can I get around this?
Thanks

What exactly do you mean by "this does not go well"? The subfig package does offer the possibility of specifying a different caption for the LoF/LoT entry as well [1], so what exactly is your problem?

[1] See "2.2.1 The \subfloat Command" within the subfig package documentation
