Remove extra vertical Space between Chapter Entries in ToC Topic is solved

LaTeX Forum: Page Layout

Add tags Information and discussion about page layout specific issues (e.g. header and footer lines, page formats, page numbers).

Postby jbgrad on Sat Nov 17th, 2012

My ToC should be double-spaced. That is easy enough except that by default (my class is similar to the document class, I think) an extra vertical space is added after the chapter entries.

Is there some command that I can renew or something to remove this space? I would think this should be very easy.

Any assistance will be appreciated.

welcome to the board!

You could disable that space for example by

Code: Select all  •  Open in writeLaTeX

If you need this also for the list of figures or list of tables, you could do it similarly or shortened by making a macro from this redefinition.
