OK, this isn't really related to LaTeX, but as this is my first Android App, I thought this would be the right place to post it. And if you are reading this post then -- probably -- you are already using some kind of news reader and maybe you are still looking for the right app for your Android device :-)
Christian Tellechea has released version 0.1 of his tabularcalc package. Given a list of numbers and one (or more) formulas, the package offers an easy syntax to build a table of values, i.e. a tabular in which the first row contains the list of numbers, and the other rows contain the calculated values of the formulas for each number of the list.
Joseph Wright has updated his siunitx package to version 1.2f. The new version introduces the ability to disable literal unit processing and new units for chemical engineers (g-mol, kg-mol, lb-mol). The siunitx package is a package for typesetting values with units. According to the author the package takes the best from other existing packages and adds new features and a consistent interface.
Josef Kleber has released version 1.3 of his update script for MiKTeX. Besides some bug fixes the new version supports the specification of a rsync-server URL. The miktex_update script offers automatic updating and/or installing of new packages of an existing MiKTeX installation.
Robin Fairbairns has released version 2.16 of his rotating package. The new version uses colour boxes where appropriated. The rotating package is built on top of the standard LaTeX graphics package to perform all the different sorts of rotation one might like, including complete figures and tables with their captions.
Martin Gieseking has updated his dvisvgm tool. The latest release introduces basic evaluation of DVI specials which is currently limited to color statements. However, more special handlers are planned and partially already in work.
Herber Voss has released version 1.00 of his pst-optic package. The release provides a new style for the optical axis and the documentation is now in the PSTricks style. The pst-optic package can be used for drawing both reflective and refractive optics diagrams. The package requires PSTricks later than version 1.10.
TeXstudio version 2.5.1 has been released. It's mainly a bugfix release. but also provides some new features, such as a new template system, a better fold panel, a context menu für in-text preview, and an option for opening all included documents.
During the last software update, the registration feature of LaTeX Community, that enables new users to register, has been damaged. The bug has been fixed now, so that the registration is working again. Thanks to the users who contacted me. Read 2 Comments...
Typesetting economic Tables

Roberto Giacomelli released his calctab package. The calctab package helps the user to typeset a kind of economic table such as invoices, expense notes and liquidation or other tabular material with a values column.
Guillaume Connan has released version 4.03 of his tablor package. The new version improves tables with forbidden zones. The tablor package allows to generate tables of signs and of variations using the computer algebra system XCAS. The actual plotting of the tables is performed using the the MetaPost macro package tableauVariations.
We have released the first stable version of the new TeXnicCenter 2.0 development branch. You may download a 32-bit version or 64-bit version. This is a BETA version of the software. It is somewhat stable and unlikely to crash. It is certainly stable enough to replace TeXnicCenter Version 1.
Stephan Hennig has released version 3.0 of his mcaption package. The new version fixes some bugs and introduces some changes that ease the use of the package. The new version is incompatible to documents created with the previous version of the package.
Christian Feuersänger has released the latest version of his pgfplots package. The new release features a completely rewritten math expression parser with extended data ranges, colormaps for scatter plots and fine tuning for plot parameters. The table package has been extended and is now a full featured table typesetting, computing and post-processing tool.
