I am very proud to announce an enhancement to the LaTeX Community's news section: Starting with today at LaTeX Community you will find high quality (La)TeX news, kindly provided by TeXblog.
TeXblog is a high quality LaTeX blog provided by Stefan Kottwitz. The blog intended to inform about TeX-related news, to collect useful information about TeX and LaTeX and to list solutions found for often occuring or interesting problems. Further it focuses on TeX support by operating systems with special attention to the well developed and freely available Ubuntu Linux.

The man behind TeXblog is Stefan Kottwitz. He is a German freelance typographic designer specialized in typesetting and programming in TeX and LaTeX. He is providing support on TeX in several internet forums. Besides his moderator "jobs" at our LaTeX Community Forum (username Stefan_K) and at goLaTeX.de, he is an active moderator of two big German math sites and a regular author in other math, chemistry, finance, TeX and Unix forums. At the end of January we reported about Stefan being announced as the best LaTeX Advisor in the context of the 7th annual awards of Matheplanet.com for the second time.

What does change for you as a LaTeX Community news reader? Technically nothing at all: The news will be available through the front page and the well known news section. Further on the full news will be still available through the existing news feeds. But from now on you will receive high quality news by a real LaTeX expert. Enjoy...
